Position Overview:
This role supports the trading desk and sales team in executing and managing client transactions across a range of investment products. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and fluent in both Portuguese and English.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to support client development and engagement
- Execute trade orders for fixed income securities, equities, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles
- Provide trading support to registered representatives and internal teams as needed
- Handle moderately complex buy/sell transactions efficiently and within required timeframes
- Communicate trading procedures clearly, respond to inquiries, and deliver quotes to internal teams and clients
- Investigate and resolve trade-related issues promptly
- Ensure all trading activity adheres to internal policies and external regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Active Series 7 license
- 1–2 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Prior experience as a trader or assistant trader preferred
- Proficiency with MarketAxess, Genesis, Bloomberg, and Excel preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential
