What are the responsibilities and job description for the BSA Alert Investigation Analyst I | Temporary Assignment position at Bradesco Bank?
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing a variety of fraud detection related activities in support of Customer Identification Program (CIP), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations designed to prevent financial-related crimes.
- Focus on international banking transactions. Responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring of account activity to identify unusual activity.
- Performs review of Monthly Exceptions Alerts in ASSIST
- Review and creation of Currency Transaction Reports
- Review of OFAC reports for suspected matches, due diligence reviews of existing and potential new high-risk customers, research and analysis
- Performs Lexis Nexis reviews, and searches.
- May Perform research and negative news searches, online searches, and subscription-based resources when reviewing a customer’s account activity.
- Recommend process improvements regarding “Best Practices” or efficiency gains.
- Adheres to SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Adheres to established metrics and logs for KPI (Key Performance Indicators) & KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) within the unit.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP) certification preferred
- Two years’ experience in a banking position either in a BSA position or teller, operations etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Language Skills: Excellent Written/Verbal skills (English/Spanish)
