What are the responsibilities and job description for the Work with special needs individuals CNA or student position at Brades Place?
Help us support individuals with special needs or medical complexities in a 1:1 job setting in their home or out and about doing fun things! We are currently hiring for morning shifts (7 AM–3 PM) and evening shifts (2 PM–9 PM). CNA skills and experience are preferred, but CNA certification is not required. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while gaining valuable experience in special education, behavioral health, and patient care.
Prior experience working directly with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. We highly value training and provide comprehensive training for motivated candidates.

You will assist your client with:
- Promoting independence, which can vary greatly depending on each individual's needs. This may include activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding to promote independence and dignity.
- For individuals who are more independent, providing support with decision-making and encouraging independence through engaging activities, community outings, and meaningful experiences.
- Providing personalized support based on each individual's abilities, needs, and goals.
