Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project workflows.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation and compliance with design specifications.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and communication updates.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to project plans.
- Facilitate effective project coordination through clear communication, time management, and proactive problem-solving.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction drawings.
- Experience with contracts administration and knowledge of construction estimating processes.
- Excellent project scheduling skills utilizing Primavera P6 or similar platforms; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and site supervision best practices.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies including project coordination techniques and construction management principles.
