We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our growing shop. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, works efficiently, and understands modern vehicle repair standards. This role involves structural and non-structural body repairs, panel replacement, and refinishing prep to manufacturer and insurance specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform auto body repairs including panel replacement, straightening, and metal finishing
- Repair collision damage according to OEM and insurance guidelines
- Use frame machines, measuring systems, and hand/power tools properly
- Remove and install body panels, trim, glass, and related components
- Perform body filler work and sanding for paint prep
- Identify additional damage and communicate with estimators or management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow shop procedures and quality control standards
Qualifications
2 years of auto body or collision repair experience preferred
- Ability to perform high-quality repairs with minimal rework
- Experience with unibody and frame repair a plus
- Knowledge of modern materials (HSS, aluminum, plastics) preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own basic body tools (shop provides major equipment)
