Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires with precision and efficiency using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct wheel alignments and tire service assessments to promote safety and proper handling.
- Diagnose common automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical problems, safety concerns, and wear-and-tear during routine service visits.
- Assist customers by explaining services performed, recommending additional maintenance or repairs, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred; strong mechanic experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated automotive diagnostics skills combined with solid mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Experience performing oil changes, tire services, alignments, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely; physical stamina is essential for this role.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
