Fuel Technician / Service Truck Driver (Will Train)

PAY, SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS

$21.00/hr to start. $23 to $26/hr after 60 days based on performance.

Full time, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM start at our shop in Baltimore 21230. Overtime available. No nights. No weekends.

Health, dental and vision insurance beginning November 1, 2026.

ABOUT US

Brad's Fuel Filtering has been cleaning and maintaining diesel fuel systems around Baltimore and the Mid Atlantic since the 1990s. We service backup generators at hospitals, data centers, government buildings and marinas, the tanks that have to work when the power goes out.

We will train you. You do not need fuel experience. If you have driven for a living, turned a wrench, or done physical field work and shown up every day doing it, we can teach you the rest.

WHAT YOU WOULD ACTUALLY DO

Drive a company service truck to customer sites around the Baltimore and DC area, usually on your own. Clean and filter diesel fuel tanks using our pumps, hoses and filtration equipment. Take fuel samples and record readings. Keep your truck, equipment and paperwork in order. Talk to facility managers on site and represent us well.

The work is physical and it gets dirty. You are outside in the weather. You are on your feet. If that is what you are looking for, you will like it here.

REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

These are firm. We check all of them, so applying without them wastes your time and ours.

1. A valid FULL Maryland driver's license. Provisional licenses cannot be covered by our commercial auto insurance, so we cannot hire provisional holders.

2. A clean driving record. Every driver is submitted to our insurance carrier before hire. DUIs, and recent accidents or points, will usually mean we cannot cover you.

3. Your own reliable vehicle to get yourself to our shop each morning.

4. You can be at 3515 Marmenco Court, Baltimore, by 6:00 AM. The crew rolls out at 6. This is not flexible, so please do not apply if an early start does not work for you.

5. A steady work history. We care far more about someone who stayed somewhere than about an impressive job title.

6. Able to lift, bend, climb and work outdoors year round.

7. Pass a background check and drug screen.

NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED

Delivery, route, bus, CDL or fleet driving. Mechanical or maintenance work of any kind. HVAC, plumbing, pumps, generators. OSHA 10.
