Job Title: Assembler I
Location: Alden, NY
Employment Type: Direct Placement
1st shift: 6:35am-2:35pm M-F (no differential)
2nd shift: 2:35pm-10:35pm M-F (15% shift diff)
3rd shift: 10:35pm-6:35am Sun-Thurs (15% shift diff)
Weekend day: 6:30am-6:30pm Fri-Sun (15% shift diff)
Weekend nights: 6:30pm-6:30am Fri-Sun (20% shift diff)
What You'll Do:
- Set up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI's).
- Assemble component parts as per print. Utilizes both manual and automatic machine operation.
- Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
- Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- May package assemblies for shipping.
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of light assembly experience or in a regulated industry
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Mechanical assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
