Precision CNC Programmer & Setup Machinist
Based in Trumbauersville, PA
About the Role
- Run and set up CNC lathes and mills across 2–4 axis and 5 axis platforms.
- Program, load, and edit using G-Code and M-Code; leverage CAM for efficient toolpaths.
- Translate prints and technical drawings into dimensionally accurate parts using GD&T.
- Apply shop math to calculate offsets, tolerances, and dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to protect uptime and quality.
- Partner with engineers and production to refine processes and reduce cycle time.
What You Need to Succeed
- Demonstrated CNC machinist experience in manufacturing.
- Fluency with CNC tooling, G-Code/M-Code, and efficient setup practices.
- Blueprint reading proficiency with strong shop math.
- Comfort with computers and familiarity with CAM software.
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality.
- Experience with equipment from Star, Tornos, DMG Mori, Miyano, Makino, Haas, Brother (preferred).
Schedule, Pay & Benefits
- 2nd Shift: M–Th 4:30–3:00 (4 days) with a 10% differential.
- 3rd Shift: Fr, Sat, & Su 6:00–6:30 (3 days). Work 36 hours and be paid for 40, plus a 10% differential.
- Hire Bonus: $5,000 total — 50% after 30 days of employment; remaining balance after 180 days.
- Competitive pay commensurate with experience; overtime available.
