Position Summary
Brabeion Academy is seeking a Part-Time Child Nutrition Manager to administer the Academy's federal lunch program. This role is responsible for meal preparation, kitchen staff supervision, and food service compliance in a fast-paced, mission-driven school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the Academy's federal child nutrition (lunch) program in accordance with all applicable federal and state requirements.
- Prepare and serve student lunches daily.
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff (one to two part-time employees).
- Order and manage supplies, including food, cooking equipment, and kitchen materials.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health code standards in the kitchen and serving areas.
- Maintain accurate program records and documentation to support compliance and reporting requirements.
Position Details
- Part-time, approximately 25 to 30 hours per week.
- Pay rate of $17.00 to $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Lunch-only program (no breakfast service).
- Eligible for PERSI (Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho) and health insurance benefits.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
