This is a great opportunity for students seeking an Unpaid for-credit internship with a well-respected and dynamic national PR agency in Manhattan that has been rated by Expertise.com as one of New York's top PR firms since 2017.
We have two in-person internship positions starting January 5th for students available to work two days a week (not Fridays) until May 28th. The working hours are from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
If you are looking for an internship with hands-on experience in all facets of entertainment and business PR and the opportunity to work directly with the president of the agency, this is the place for you! Our interns develop an array of marketable skills and have found much success within the field and beyond over the years.
We are looking for a bright individual who is comfortable both multi-tasking and being a team player, all while having the confidence to tackle his/her own projects. Previous internship experience and some knowledge of the public relations/communications industry preferred.
Responsibilities include:
· Work on live events. Duties include checking in and interacting with media.
· Create social media posts. Stay on top of trending subjects and help build followers.
· Research and create influencer lists, help pitch them.
· Participate in client meetings.
· Do online research for clients.
· Research and maintain media lists on Cision, the key PR database.
· Stay on top of trending topics and breaking news for opportunities to insert our clients in stories.
