What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Spray Technician position at BR Green Lawn Care?
BR Green is a fertilization and weed control company located in Lewisville and is seeking an experienced lawn applicator to serve residential and commercial clients in the DFW area. We are looking for an applicator who is skilled in diagnosing and treating turf, ornamental trees and plants. A minimum of 2 years experience is required for this position. Having a TDA license is preferred, but not required. You must have the ability to become licensed within 6 months if you're unlicensed.
Daily Job Functions:
- Completing lawn applications thoroughly and safely while monitoring the landscape for disease, pest, and irrigation issues.
- Accurate disease, weed, and insect identification with treatment recommendation
- Ability to identify and properly treat different turf types
- Driving company vehicle safely to each client location
- Communicating with clients as needed throughout the day
Candidate Requirements:
- TDA licensed applicator (3A) or the legal ability to obtain a license within 6 months
- 2 years of experience treating turf and ornamental trees/shrubs
- Knowledge of commonly used herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work at a high level with minimal supervision
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving history of 5 years
- Pass a pre-hire drug screen and background check

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
