What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales - Pharmaceuticals position at BPI Labs?
You will be responsible for marketing BPI’s generic sterile injectable product line to hospitals, specialty clinics, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs) in their assigned geographic territory. This role will report initially to our Director, National Accounts. We are a fast-growing business expecting to launch multiple products annually, and we are building a national sales team to support that continued growth.
The geographic territory - San Francisco metro area
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build strategic customer relationships at Hospital Pharmacy and Health-System levels
- Drive pull-through on existing Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and proprietary contracts and build the product and brand awareness of the BPI portfolio
- Communicate competitive activities to management on a routine basis, especially in regard to our existing product line and planned new launches
- Partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to support corporate objectives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BA/BS, or equivalent experience
- 2 -4 years of experience selling to hospital pharmacies, specialty clinics, IDNs, and health systems
- Understanding of GPO/IDN/Hospital relationships for pull-through on purchasing contracts
- Generic sterile injectable experience
- Proven success in new product and line extension launches
- Exceptional knowledge of Regulatory and Compliance protocols of the healthcare environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Ability to work in an autonomous work environment
