Summary:
The Material Handler supports production and inventory operations. This role focuses on picking, packing, and preparing materials for production work orders and inventory cycle counts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production work orders.
- Accurately label, stage, and store materials in assigned warehouse locations.
- Perform inventory transactions in the system (GS or ERP) to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Support cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Deliver materials to production, fabrication, or other departments as scheduled.
- Communicate shortages, damages, or stock issues to the Materials Manager.
- Follow all company safety procedures and support continuous improvement in material flow.
Education and Experience
- Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read packing slips, part labels, and work orders.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other similar material handling equipment
- Experience with ERP/Inventory systems is ideal
Pay negotiable based on experience and skill set.
Monday - Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Fridays 8:00am-12:00pm
40 hours a week
Salary : $20 - $22
