Product Handler Paint and Assembly-1st Shift

Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is 1st shift, Monday- Friday 6:30a.m. - 3:00p.m. Our facility is located at 1204 W. 20th Street, Okmulgee, OK 74447. Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.18-$22.60 per hour with occasional overtime available.

Objective:

• The position of product handler is responsible for support the paint and assembly personnel with the hanging and unhanging of parts, supplying parts and materials to support assembly members with winch building, and assist the assembly and paint department in a support role/capacity.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Be capable to perform all assigned tasks from start to finish with minimal instruction.

• Develop good problem-solving skills.

• Complete assignments on schedule while meeting or exceeding quality standards.

• Ensure the proper handling and disposal of all hazardous and nonhazardous waste used. 

• Develop a high level of work organization skills.  

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

• Must be able to follow all written and verbal work instruction, operations and procedures.

• Have the ability to use pneumatic tools and hand tools.

• Support plant safety policies and set a good example for others.

• Be able to recognize obvious irregularities in form, fit or function.

• Basic computer skills required for the completion of time cards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system.

• Must actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the work area as well as the entire facility.

• Must have the ability, knowledge and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed.

• Must be able to use material handling equipment (Forklift, Raymond lifts, walkie stackers, low boys, etc.) to pull and position parts and materials necessary to perform your assigned tasks.

• Must have the ability and desire to work effectively and get along with others in a workgroup environment.

Arrowhead Winch Inc. is a manufacturer of industrial winches. Employees are working around heavy machinery. Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment. Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time. Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head. Must be able to lift 60 pounds, push/pull a minimum of 75 pounds and stand on your feet 8-10 hours per day.
