BPA TROXELL is seeking a Client Support Specialist for our Bloomington IL location.
The successful hire will work with our agency producers and their assistants to offer exceptional customer service to our clients. This role will be responsible for being the first contact for our clients thru phone coverage and front desk coverage. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of customer service experience with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Ability to build rapport, and develop/maintain strong relationships with internal/external partners
- Ability to work independently
- Previous phone-based customer support skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with an assigned agent / assistant on day-to-day basis.
- Assist with spreadsheets, enrollments, changes.
- First contact for the agency thru phones and in person
- Regular contact with employees across the organization-back up for assistants Answer incoming phone calls from health care providers (i.e. client groups, employees, physician offices, clinics) and identify the type of assistance the provider needs (EG. benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, explanation of benefits)
- Focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide appropriate response to caller
- Deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff
- Other duties as assigned
