We are looking for an undergraduate student majoring in finance, accounting, or a related field for a 10-week internship role at our Alexion: AstraZeneca Rare Disease site in Boston, MA from June 1 2026 to August 7 2026. Position Description: Learn the full GTN waterfall (list price to net sales), including accrual methodologies for rebates, chargebacks, Medicaid/340B, wholesaler fees, distribution/service fees, returns, and co-pay programs. Reconcile SAP actuals with Anaplan plans; ensure completeness and tie back to effective contracts; participate in month end close for revenue and GTN accruals, perform tie outs, review materiality, and maintain audit ready documentation. Use Excel Power Query/Pivots and build Power BI views to align actuals and forecasts, present insights in graphs and tables, and quantify price, demand, mix, and GTN drivers of net sales and margin. Partner with Market Access, Contracting, and Brand teams to gather assumptions and reflect them in scenarios; translate complex topics (revenue recognition, GTN movements, payer changes) into concise narratives for commercial and finance leaders. Participate in month-end close checklists for revenue and GTN accruals, review materiality thresholds, perform tie-outs between SAP and Anaplan, and help document evidence for audit readiness (policy references, estimation rationale, and true-up analysis). Position Requirements: Undergraduate student majoring in finance, accounting, or a related field. Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026. US Work Authorization is required at time of application. This role will not be providing CPT support. Prior experience with FP&A, Commercial Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Market Access analytics roles is a plus Prior experience with ACCA/CIMA/CPA areas such as revenue recognition (IFRS 15/ASC 606), management accounting, performance management, and controls. Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design. Ability to report onsite to the Seaport neighborhood of Boston, MA 3-5 days per week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
