Duties
- Perform drain cleaning, unclogging, and maintenance using specialized tools such as plumbing inspection cameras, mechanical and hydro powered drain clearing tools, and power tools.
- Inspect plumbing systems for blockages, leaks, or damage by interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Utilize construction experience to assess site conditions, prepare work areas, and execute repairs or replacements on water systems and drainage infrastructure.
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems in accordance with local building codes and industry standards.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and plan repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, construction site protocols, and plumbing codes while maintaining a clean work environment.Skills
- Construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, or remodeling projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to water systems, HVAC integration, and plumbing system maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Familiarity with local building codes relevant to plumbing and drainage systems.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, working at heights or confined spaces on construction sites.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or system specifications.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials as needed.
