Cashier/Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
• Utilize up selling techniques to promote additional products and services.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Support inventory management through stocking shelves and assisting with product rotation.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic math and retail math principles for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills are essential for providing excellent customer service and teamwork.

• Must be able to lift 30lbs consistently.
• Must be 18years or older to apply

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
