Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with fueling and other inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
- Handle cash and perform accurate cash handling duties, including balancing the register at the end of shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer experience.
- Upsell additional products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
- Supervise staff as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking items as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and customer interaction.
