Salary Range: Grade G, $22.10-$23.84, or appropriate placement on salary schedule. Upon hire, HR Director will decide placement on salary schedule. Benefits available. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Description: Daytime Custodian
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Prior custodial experience in a school setting preferred. Must be able to move/lift 50 lbs and pass a pre-employment physical evaluation.
Working Conditions: The Daytime Custodian position is responsible for the 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (hours may change slightly). Responsibilities include general cleaning of portions of the school building and snow removal for the building. Cleaning duties include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning glass, toilets, urinals, food service areas as well as any area in the building. Special events scheduled during the day require additional support. The employee will work with other custodians to maintain a clean and orderly school facility.
