As a Splash Pad Attendant, you’ll play a key role in keeping the facility running smoothly and safely.
Work Week: Flexible schedule of 20 hours/week. Operational hours will be Monday-Friday from 10:30am to 8:30pm.
Wage: $22/hour

Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-Exempt
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains a clean and safe facility, including changing filter baskets, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring the splash pad and surrounding areas are clear of potentially dangerous objects or situations.
- Enforces splash pad rules and regulations for efficient and safe operation of the facility.
- Tests chemical balance in water and changes to water chemistry as directed.
- Responds to citizens’ questions and comments in a courteous and timely manner.
- Communicates and coordinates regularly with on-call Certified Pool Operator (CPO) as well as Aquatic Management to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of the classification.
- Must be at least 15 years old.

- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, using both technical and non-technical language.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Ability to operate a personal computer using standard or customized software applications appropriate to assigned tasks.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology.
