What are the responsibilities and job description for the QUICK LANE TECHNICIAN position at BOZARD FORD CO?
1. Produce billable labor on the vehicle brought into the Service Department, assigned by Computer or Service Advisor, for service or repair.
2. Meet completion times for the jobs assigned to the production group.
3. Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship for the labor performed.
4. Attend daily morning production meetings.
5. Maintain a high level of cleanliness, grooming, uniform appearance, service bay organization and cleanliness.
6. Meet individually with the Shop Foreman at least once a week to discuss:
a. Individual performance vs. objectives
b. Personnel problems
7. Communicate to the appropriate Assistance Service Manager (ASM) information regarding any job that will not meet the ASM’s promise time.
8. Attend training and/or certification as designated by management.
9. Perform flagging-up of all repair orders at the end of each day (work in progress and left uncompleted).
10. Arrive at work, take breaks and lunch, and depart work at the times designated by management.
11. Inform management of any situation or event that would interfere with established objectives, standards, or company policy.
12. Inform management of any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its employees, or customers.
