What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground Contractor) position at Bozada Logistics, Inc.?
We are a contractor for FedEx Ground hiring for full-time and permanent part-time drivers. We need to fill Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday full-time positions. Part-time drivers could be scheduled any day of the week and could be filling in for vacations, sick days and heavy delivery days.
Job Requirements
· Must be 21 years of age.
· Must have a class E driver's license in MO or class C driver's license in IL.
· Need a clean MVR, able to pass DOT physical, drug screen and background check.
· Must be able to lift 80 lbs and maneuver up to 150 lbs safely with the use of a 2-wheeler
Positions could be any day Monday-Sunday. If you are not available to work Saturday and/or Sunday this job is not for you. Part-time positions are a great opportunity for anyone wanting extra income. Firefighters, police officers, or anyone on a rotating schedule are great candidates. Also, great for retirees. This is a fast paced, physically demanding job. Your day starts about 7 - 8 a.m. and ends when your deliveries/pick ups are complete and you return to the terminal. All of our routes are in South County but your day will start at the FedEx Ground terminal in Overland, MO. In August we will be moving to the FedEx Ground terminal in Sauget, IL.
