REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be an independently licensed practitioner (or licensable) i.e., Psychologist, Counselor, Mental Health Practitioner, LMFT, LCSW.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of clinical concerns and diagnoses for children and adolescents such as disruptive behavior problems, ADHD, oppositional and defiant behavior, sleep disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and fears, motor habits, academic problems and ASDs.
- Other Duties: This job description incorporates the essential functions and duties required for this position. However, other duties may be required and assigned at times and as determined by a supervisor in order to meet the needs of the organization.
- Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
- Reasonably expected to have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental and emotional) situations encountered on the job without compromising their health and well-being or that of their fellow employees, youth, or families. Work is typically in a normal office environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks. May be subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally. Includes constant interruptions, inappropriate behaviors, and the potential for verbal and physical threats from youth.
