Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bridgeport, CT, for a Life Safety Officer. The Life Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of facilities, staff, and clients by monitoring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Daily responsibilities include conducting routine safety inspections, coordinating emergency preparedness efforts, ensuring building security, maintaining safety equipment. The Life Safety Officer will work closely with other team members to promote a safe environment for all.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safety standards, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness protocols
- Strong communication skills for conducting safety training and collaborating with teams
- Attention to detail for thorough inspections and accurate documentation of compliance issues
- Ability to implement and enforce safety procedures effectively
- Experience in emergency response or safety management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Assist facilities with snow removal.
- Assist with bringing, picking up agency vehicles for service, cleanings, etc.
- Must be able to work all locations if needed.
- Report any issues or findings to the Manager of Life Safety.
- Must have a valid CT Guard Card.
