Overview Of Your Role
As Pool Attendant Coordinator for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Capital Area, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons by monitoring the pool area and responding promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment in and around the pool, providing swim lessons and swim team coaching, and treating the pool with the appropriate concentration of chemicals on a regular schedule.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Maintain constant surveillance of pool patrons, enforcing all rules and regulations in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage the daily schedule of lifeguards, providing adequate coverage
- Ensure that all safety regulations are being followed, and respond appropriately in the event of
- an emergency.
- Maintain aquatic department quality standards and exceptional image
- Maintain appropriate scheduled coverage
- Display exceptional customer service and professionalism
- Ensure engaging service and activity coordination for the community
CREDENTIALS, SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current and valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Experience teaching swim lessons or coaching swim team is highly desirable
- At least 2 years' of aquatic experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment practical skills test in the water
- Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments in a variety of weather conditions
