What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Development Professional After School position at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Bowling Green Area?
We are seeking an outgoing and energetic people to join our After School Program team! As a Youth Development Professional (YDP) your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our Club members ages 6-18. YDP's will oversee members activities and facilitate Boys & Girls Club National and local programming. As a YDP you will be responsible for the day to day classroom activities in a busy, nonprofit youth organization. Locations include our Main Clubhouse @ 260 Scott Way, Lost River Elementary and Jennings Creek Elementary.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate activities, games, sports, and other outdoor activities
- Assist in creating daily and weekly schedules catered to each group of members, their ages, and interests
- Monitor members and escort them to various activities
- Provide fun learning opportunities
- Set up, take down, and maintain Club equipment
Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check
- Previous experience working with children
- Organized and responsible
- Ability to work with a team
