Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Columbia, Tennessee, for a Director of Resource Development. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and leading resource development strategies that support the organization’s mission.
Key responsibilities include overseeing fundraising campaigns, cultivating donor relationships, managing annual and planned giving efforts, and engaging community stakeholders. The Director will also recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to strengthen the impact of development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service, relationship-building, and record-keeping experience
- Demonstrated success in building community partnerships and cultivating strong professional relationships
- Ability to represent the organization with professionalism and communicate its mission with clarity and confidence
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Knowledge of nonprofit operations, management, and best practices
- Understanding of the mission, programs, and impact of Boys & Girls Clubs or similar youth-serving organizations preferred
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and grant writing preferred
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
