The Details
Salary: $15.25 - $16.83 per hour.
Hours (School Year): Monday – Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or 2 p.m to 7 p.m depending on site.
School Breaks (including summer) & Fridays: 5-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (Shifts vary) .
Your Impact
As a Program Coordinator, you will collaborate with your Clubhouse team to plan and implement outcome-driven programs in areas like STEM, Arts & Crafts, Emotional Wellness, and Physical Education. The Minnequa Clubhouse is specifically looking for a Physical Education Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Way: Facilitate activities for small and large groups (6 to 20 members).
Mentor Youth: Foster a safe and positive environment using the five key elements of youth development.
Community Connection: Maintain contact with parents, schools, and community groups to expand experiences for our youth.
Safety First: Maintain discipline and ensure the health and safety of all members at all times.
What You Bring to the Club:
Education: Associate’s Degree (preferred) in Education, Recreation, Psychology, or Sociology. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children and a solid understanding of youth development.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Suite and data entry.
Attributes: High energy, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to advocating for underrepresented groups.
Workplace Environment
Physical: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Setting: A busy, energetic, and occasionally noisy environment where you must be prepared to handle accidents or emergencies at any time.
