Responsibilities
- Help facilitate daily programs, activities, and special events tailored to youth's interests, ensuring smooth daily operations and participant engagement.
- Encourage youth participation and positive behavior by supervising youth, enforcing Club rules, and modeling positive behavior.
- Build positive relationships with youth and encourage leadership, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where youth feel valued and supported.
- Maintain detailed records of program participation, progress, and feedback to inform continuous improvement
- Support daily site operations, room transitions, organization of spaces, and maintenance of clean and safe program areas.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new initiatives.
- Support emergency response procedures by applying first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring participant safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and community partners to foster strong relationships and promote program success
- Prepare materials, set up spaces, and support facilitation of group activities.
Skills
- Experience working with youth aged 10-18 preferred
- Minimum age requirement consistent with organizational and state guidelines.·
- Ability to supervise and engage youth in a structured group setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and program needs.
- Successful completion of required background checks and training prior to working with youth, in accordance with BGCMR policies and state requirements.
