Job Description: Bus Driver
Reports to: Athletic Director
PLEASE NOTE: Hours for this position are daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, full days, and additional trips. During the summer months (June - August), hours may vary any time between 7:30 - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Transport members to and from sports practices, school, field trips and club events. Communicate and plan with Athletic Director, Club Directors and staff at various locations so ensure that schedule is being followed.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely transport members to and from district schools, sports practices, field trips and club events.
- Communicate effectively with club staff.
- Observes standard operating procedures and safety practices; corrects and/or reports potential safety violations; monitors condition of facilities to ensure a safe environment at all times.
- Keeps company buses and vehicles clean.
- Assists with special events.
- Must have a valid CDL driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for operating a school bus.
- Must be available daily from as early as 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
