Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for School Site Lead. School Site Lead is responsible for leadership, branch operations, branch programming, administrative compliance, facility and child safety.


Duties include but not limited to: credible leader others choose to follow; implement set vision; execute strategy; responsible for branch operations; manage performance; accountable for relationship management for membership and program fees; branch programming in all areas facility and program quality; complete all required reports and administrative duties on time; accountable for safety at assigned facility; and be a positive role model.


Position may require food distribution duties to members and community. There is potential for exposure to germs and illnesses. Employees are to follow all safety procedures and protocols.


Work sites are located in low income areas, challenging neighborhoods, and growth neighborhoods. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and at times moderate or very loud. Position requires working with large groups of youth.


At the branches, youth receive targeted services in a safe, supportive environment from staff who believe in the organization’s mission. The Club experience focuses on three priority outcomes: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Positive Citizenship.


Requirements

Education and work experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with youth
  • Must meet state requirements for licensed childcare site director



Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work during program hours (afternoons and evenings Monday – Friday during school year)
  • Ability to work at various sites as directed
  • Ability to be a positive role model
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to relate to at-risk youth
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • Position requires driving personal vehicle. Certain positions require driving a company vehicle. Candidates must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under the company insurance the requirement is for employee to be a minimum of age 21.



Pay & Benefits

Pay: $17.45 per hour

Benefits: Paid time off
