The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley is seeking energetic, reliable, and youth-focused Substitute Youth Development Professionals to support our after-school programs when permanent staff are unavailable. This flexible role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organization without the demands of a fixed schedule.

What You’ll Do
- Lead fun and engaging group activities for elementary and middle school youth
- Supervise and motivate groups of 10 members while ensuring safety
- Use positive guidance and conflict resolution strategies
- Build strong, positive relationships with youth, families, and staff
- Support programs in our core areas: arts, STEAM, sports, leadership, and healthy lifestyles
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience working with groups of youth (after-school, camp, recreation, tutoring, or classroom settings)
- Dependable and flexible—able to step in when coverage is needed
- Strong communication and group management skills
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- High school diploma required; college coursework in education or related fields is a plus
