Duties
- Manage and supervise the gameroom or activity area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Assist guests with game instructions, rules, and troubleshooting to enhance their experience.
- Enforce safety protocols, including manual handling procedures and emergency response procedures such as first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems; process ticket sales, food orders, or merchandise purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gameroom, including setting up event spaces or outdoor activity zones for special occasions or tournaments.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly through effective conflict management while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Support event management by assisting with setup, breakdown, and coordination of special events or themed activities.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in retail sales, hospitality, or entertainment environments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and manual handling techniques.
- Previous experience with event venue operations or outdoor work environments is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in public speaking situations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving outdoor work or setting up equipment.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and processing transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
- Additional skills such as lifeguard experience, theater experience, food service background, or resort experience are considered a plus.
