The Grants Administrator is responsible for providing post-award administrative support to the Grants Manager, with a focus on preparing grant billings and reports in compliance with federal, state, and local funding requirements. This role manages the administrative processes of grant reimbursement, including compiling data for both narrative and financial reports, and collaborating closely with internal teams to gather necessary documentation. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and a proactive approach to ensure compliance and support the financial sustainability of all grant-funded programs.

These are some of the additional responsibilities of the Grants Adminstrator:

Grant Billing & Requirements such as processing grant claims, verifying supporting documentation, and monitoring grant expenditures.

Grant Reporting & Compliance such as submitting narrative and financial reports, collaborating with other teams to gather necessary information for reports, and maintaining organized, accurate records of all grant-related documentation.

Administrative Support such as providing training and technical assistance to staff and assisting in preparing budgets and projections for grant-funded programs.

General Responsibilities such as •communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve outstanding issues.

Schedule:

This is a full-time, onsite role. The schedule will be Monday-Friday.

This role will also require you to work occasional weekends and late evenings.
Required Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of two years of related experience in administrative, payroll, and/or grant reporting preferred.

Experience with federal grants management and/or federal regulations compliance is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database/spreadsheet tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Must be able to perform duties that require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time.
