POSITION OPENING
Position Title: Youth Development Professional
Employment Type: Part-time
Hours: 20-35 hours per week; Morning, Afternoon & Evening hours
Salary: Up to $13.50 per hour
Job Requirements: Ages 17
Primary Functions: The Youth Development Professional is responsible for planning and implementing programs for Club members 5-19 years. Program responsibility supports our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer skills; understanding of Microsoft Office preferred
- Knowledge and the ability to learn and teach the rules of play of common gymnasium games and activities such as Basketball, Futsal, Flag Football, etc.
- Ability to recruit and retain a diverse group of Club members
- Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Understanding of group dynamics
- Models appropriate interactions with all ages individually and in groups to encourage their involvement in activities
- Willing to work some Friday nights and weekends
