Job Title: Bus Driver (Transportational Services)
Reports To: Director of Logistics
Division: Operations
Status: Part-time, Hourly
Compensation: $18/ $21 hour
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To operate large passenger vehicles and school buses to transport children safely and efficiently. Typical schedule will be 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm with occasional extended hours for (field trips, etc.) As well as, assisting with facilitating deliveries, vehicle schedules and documentation. Hours will vary based on scheduled trips and deliveries.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

Follows specific regularly scheduled pick-ups at high schools, middle schools, and responds to requests from the Club for members who missed pickups.

Assists with programming needs, like culinary delivery/service, and programs as needed.

Assists members in boarding and exiting vehicles.

Prior to operating the vehicle, inspect exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior courtesy lamps, air conditioning or heating, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, vehicle damage, etc.

Responsible for ensuring the inside and outside of vehicles are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.

Keeps the interior of the vehicle neat and orderly.

Treats all members in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Assume other duties as assigned.

Load and deliver supplies required at sites.

Documenting and logging vehicle usage.
- Assist with maintaining vehicle schedules and facilitate the use of vehicles and drivers when needed.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
External: Maintains contact with members, families and the general public to be good citizens of the road.
Qualifications
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Must possess a valid CDL – B driver’s license with a passenger and school bus endorsement.

Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good organization and attention to detail.

Strong customer relations skills.

Able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Transport students to different locations.

Assisting with coordinating and scheduling vehicle usage.
