Job Description:
Provide individual and small group academic assistance to middle and high school age members for reading and literacy.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Review homework and assignments with members and check for comprehension and execution.
- Work through questions members did not answer correctly.
- Take notes during tutoring sessions and follow-up with the students later.
- Take daily attendance.
- Check for missing assignments.
- Communicate with the Director of Education and Career Development regarding trouble areas or other issues that require attention.
Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:
· Monday to Thursday
· 2:30-6:00 PM
Experience:
· Minimum of two years of college preferred.
· Knowledge of tutoring processes and methods.
· Ability to develop positive rapport with members.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to assess and understand learning styles.
· Ability to plan and implement quality education programs for youth.
· Ability to supervise members in a safe environment.
· Must complete are required trainings.
Relationships:
Internal: Maintain daily communication with Director of Education and Career Development and Club members.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Must be trained in CPR/First Aide within 90 days of hire
· Must attend 8-hours of continued educational training each year
License/Certification:
· First Aid Certification (Preferred)
· CPR Certification (Preferred)
