What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Program staff position at Boys & Girls Club of Faulkner County?
Position Details:
· Job Type: Part-time
· Pay: $13.00 to $14.00 based on experience
· Hours: 15–20 hours per week
· Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
· Location: Greenbrier Westside & Eastside Elementary Schools
What You’ll Do:
· Create a fun and engaging environment where kids feel safe and supported
· Lead and facilitate activities that promote learning, recreation, and social development
· Encourage positive behavior and teamwork among club members
· Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance program experiences
· Be a positive role model, demonstrating respect, leadership, and integrity
Qualifications
- What We’re Looking For:
o Experience working with children in group settings (camps, schools, or after-school programs)
o Understanding of youth development principles (especially in elementary-aged children)
o Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits are a plus but not required
o Strong behavior management and leadership skills
o Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn
