The Boys & Girls Club of Alton is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Youth Development Specialist for our After School Program. This is an excellent opportunity for those who have a passion for helping youth grow, learn, and succeed in a safe and supportive environment. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children ages 6–18 and a genuine interest in youth development, mentoring, and community impact.
YDS work directly with our Club members in one of four age groups (6–7, 8–9, 10–12, or Teens), planning and leading engaging daily activities, ensuring safety, and serving as positive role models. Work hours are Monday–Thursday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. New team members will complete the paid online Boys & Girls Club training program
