Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Youth Development Professional, based in Allentown, PA. The Youth Development Professional will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging programs and activities that promote positive youth development and foster a sense of belonging. Key responsibilities include providing mentorship to youth, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, facilitating educational and recreational programs, and fostering positive relationships among club members. The role also includes collaborating with staff and community partners to ensure quality program delivery and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in Positive Youth Development and Youth Development practices
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate youth
- Background in Education and Training, ideally with experience in creating and delivering youth-focused programs
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and a commitment to fostering a positive environment
- Previous experience working with youth in a mentorship or facilitation capacity is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework in youth services, education, or a related field are a plus
- Bilingual Preferred
