Title: Youth Development Professional Specialist Program: Fall/Winter
Seasonal Program Location: Boys & Girls Club Family Center Reports To:
Program Director Employment Type: Seasonal / Part-Time Pay Rate: \$15.75
per hour Schedule: Monday -Friday, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM (15 hours/week)
Position Summary: The Youth Development Professional Specialist plays a
vital role in supporting the mission of the Boys & Girls Club Family
Center by fostering a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for
youth during the Fall/Winter program. This position focuses on
delivering high-quality programming, building positive relationships
with youth, and maintaining compliance with EEC regulations. Key
Responsibilities: - Supervise and engage teen in daily activities,
ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. - Implement age-appropriate
programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and
character development. - Support teens in developing positive social
skills and conflict resolution strategies. - Maintain accurate
attendance and incident records. - Communicate effectively with teens,
families, and team members. - Assist in maintaining a clean and
organized program space. - Follow all Club policies and EEC guidelines,
including maintaining appropriate staff-to-child ratios. - Participate
in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development
opportunities. - Always uphold confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications: - Must pass a CORI background check. - Must provide
up-to-date physical and MMR documentation. - Experience working with
youth in a structured setting preferred. - Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a
team. - Commitment to the mission and values of the Boys & Girls Club
Family Center. Additional Information: - This is a seasonal position
with no holiday or vacation pay; sick time will be accrued. - The
position is at-will and subject to change based on agency needs and EEC
ratio requirements. - A mandatory 90-day introductory period applies. -
Additional hours may be available with supervisor\'s approval. -
