Position SummaryThe Front Desk Administrator plays a key role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized environment at the Club’s front entrance. This position is responsible for greeting members and visitors, monitoring entry and exit, answering phones, and supporting basic administrative functions. The Front Desk Administrator ensures the front desk area functions efficiently to support the overall success of the afterschool program.Key Responsibilities• Greet and sign in all members, visitors, and volunteers in a professional and courteous manner.• Ensure accurate and timely member sign-in and sign-out procedures.• Monitor front entrance for safety, visibility, and controlled access.• Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take messages as needed.• Distribute and collect forms, flyers, and permission slips from members or families.• Provide basic information about the Club’s programs and schedule.• Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance entry, form filing, and supply inventory.• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.• Communicate relevant updates or concerns to the Site Director.• Assist during dismissal and parent pick-up to ensure smooth and safe transitions.Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Experience in administrative, customer service, or youth-serving environment preferred.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting.• Proficiency with basic office equipment (phone, copier, computer entry).• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor.• Must pass background check and meet any local licensing requirements.
