The Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County is HIRING! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of youth! The Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County is seeking to fill a Youth Development Professional (YDP) positions This is a split shift, part-time position. The Youth Development Professional (YDP) implements and supervises activities with youth on a daily basis.
YDPs create a positive environment for youth, providing informal guidance and role modeling. YDPs ensure a healthy and safe environment for youth and a productive work environment for all staff. YDPs assist in tracking attendance, participation, and other metrics, as required.
The Boys and Girls Club is looking for individuals who can be professional, organized, active, and flexible. Candidates must be self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities. Communication and customer service are vital to the position. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and able to work both before and after school. Experience working with youth is recommended but not a requirement. Criminal background checks and drug screens are required.
Work Schedule: Shifts are dependent upon the site location. Morning shifts begin between 6:15 a.m to 6:45 a.m and release for the start of the school day at 8:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. For regular school days, afternoon shifts begin at 3:30 p.m. and end between 6:00 to 6:30 p.m., depending on site and schedule. Hours vary depending on school schedules; early release breaks, etc. YDP employees can expect between 25-35 hours per week.
