Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations at the front of the house. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times accurately to guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist in managing reservations through phone etiquette and effective guest relations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including food service protocols.
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
