What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic (Experienced) position at Boyne Resorts?
We are looking for an experienced mechanic to join the Brighton Vehicle Shop. This includes preventative maintenance and repair of the vehicle fleet; which consists of snow grooming equipment, heavy equipment, trucks, snowmobiles, small engines, and more. This is a full-time, year-round position.

Responsibilities
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this area:
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair jobs associated with the fleet.
- Assist with ordering, inventory, parts, and supplies for the repair facilities and fleet.
- Ability to work in teams and solo to accomplish required tasks.
- Utilize an accessible library of services, manuals, parts manuals, supply catalogs, and other reference aids associated with the operation of a repair facility.
- Help maintain a comprehensive record system that tracks service, repair, and other needs associated with each vehicle.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Help maintain communication channels to all departments regarding the scheduling of repairs and maintenance.
- Mechanic must provide or acquire set of basic tools.
Qualifications
Mechanic must have a minimum of 2 years experience in automotive and/or professional training
Knowledge of all automotive systems including engine, transmission, axle, brake, and electronics
High school diploma or GED
State and or other certifications are highly preferred but not required
Valid driver’s license
Fabrication skills are a bonus
