Pleasant Mountain Outfitters Sales Associate

Pleasant Mountain Outfitters is looking to hire Retail Sales Associates for our upcoming winter season. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience and will work as part of the retail team to manage inventory, ensuring that all merchandise is stocked, organized, displayed and signed for promotions and sale events accordingly. Must be available to work days, weekends, and holidays. Retail Sales Associates provide excellent customer service in all aspects of soft goods sales and service. Knowledge of winter sports and merchandise preferred, but willing to train a desired candidate.

• Give accurate and current information about the merchandise for all brands carried in assigned shop.
• Sell merchandise and be the expert for all soft good sold in store.
• Develop strong knowledge of the Pleasant Mountain property as well as the surrounding area to be able to answer questions regarding area activities.
• Always maintain a positive and cheerful attitude.
• Maintain merchandising displays as needed.
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task while greeting all guests promptly as they enter the store and always hosting a warm atmosphere.

• Have effective communication skills.
• Have experience in customer service and sales.
• Be able to effectively work as part of a team.
• Pay attention to detail and be accurate with money usage and register use.
• Be able to exert a moderate amount of physical activity in order to carry, stock and move inventory.
• Have some knowledge or familiarity with equipment sold as well as some experience with Microsoft Office and Point of Sale programs.
