BM - Snowcat Operator

The Snowcat Operator's typical job functions included:

• Learning how to operate all slope-grooming equipment
• Maintaining mountain skiing surfaces to the finest level possible
• Safely operating a turbo-charged diesel powered snowcats with hydrostatic drives, 12 way blade and multi-function rototiller rear implements
• Operating all machine functions, such as blade controls, rear implement controls and steering
• Minimizing down time through basis preventative maintenance, cleanliness and up-keep of machines
• Covering rocks and obstacles on slopes; moving snow from low wear areas to high wear areas
• Communicating as needed to shop mechanics concerning mechanical problems

This position may be for you if:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You possess a valid driver's license
• You have achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• You have one to three months related experience and/or training
