The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Drink Preparation and Service:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative drinks.
- Serve drinks promptly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly and attentive service.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Answer questions about the drink menu and make recommendations.
- Bar Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
- Restock bar inventory and supplies, ensuring all items are available and in good condition.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, notifying the Supervisor of any shortages.
- Cash Handling:
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate cash register records.
- Follow proper cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all local and state laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Ensure the bar complies with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior and manage any unruly or intoxicated customers responsibly.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid ABC card from the TABC.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Certification from a bartending school is a plus.
- Skills and Abilities:

- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
